1. Struga Poetry Evenings: Poetry on the Black Drim

What Happened to Ohrid Calling?
The original version of this MacedoniaTOP article placed a major emphasis on Ohrid Calling 2023.
That edition featured a large electronic-music programme and several international headliners.
However, festival brands and concert series do not necessarily operate every year in the same format.
We therefore no longer recommend planning a future Ohrid trip around Ohrid Calling unless a current edition has been officially announced.
If it returns, it can certainly be added back to your festival shortlist.
Until then, Ohrid Summer Festival is the much more dependable recurring summer event to build travel plans around.
